Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) SPII grant awarded

Barloworld CVT Technologies was awarded a substantial SPII (Support Programme for Industry Innovation) grant for the development of the Naudic iCVT (Incremental Continuously Variable Transmission) in 2005.

TT100 (Top Technology 100) Award

Barloworld CVT Technologies was awarded the TT100 (Top Technology 100) Award for 2004 with TT100 status in the Emerging category.

The Technology Top 100 (TT100) Awards Programme has developed into one of the foremost business awards programmes in South Africa addressing large, medium and small enterprises.

Barloworld CVT Technologies was also awarded the TT100 (Top Technology 100) Award for 2005 with the TT100 status in the Emerging category.

SABS Prototype Design Award

Barloworld CVT Technologies was awarded the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) Prototype Design Award 2004 for the prototypes on the Rotor CVT.

Barloworld CVT Technologies was awarded the SABS Prototype Design Award 2005 for the prototypes on the Varibox Joint CVT

Swedish Innovation Award

Naudic iCVT inventor Dr. J. Naude was awarded a Swedish IFS (International Science Foundation) innovation award for the Variable Sprocket CVT in 2004.
