iCVT truck simulation saves 13.59% fuel
Submitted by Jan Naude on Thu, 2007-06-07 09:45.An extensive highway simulation of the iCVT gearbox, fitted to a fully loaded 8-ton commercial truck , has confirmed the advantages of the iCVT. The iCVT simulation results compared to the standard 6-speed truck , with a manual transmission , presents a 13.59 % fuel consumption improvement.
No prior art found for iCVT PCT application

Our PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) application on the Naudic iCVT (Incremental Continuously Variable Transmission) concept has been granted while the PCT search report indicated that NO PRIOR ART was found by the PCT search.
World First for Positively Driven Naudic iCVT

A prototype of the Naudic iCVT (Incremental Continuously Variable Transmission) has been tested to 600 N.m input torque in a Porsche 924 turbo. The transmission, which features 64 ratios that shift under load without any clutch action, is positively driven at all times.
